Preguntas comunes

What is the 20-20-20 rule?
Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet (about 6 metres) away for at least 20 seconds. This relaxes the focusing muscles inside your eyes and reduces digital eye strain. Set a timer if you tend to forget.
Do blue light glasses actually work?
Research is mixed. Blue light glasses may help reduce glare and improve contrast, which can feel more comfortable, but they haven't been proven to prevent eye strain. The bigger factors are screen distance, break frequency, and ambient lighting.
What are the symptoms of digital eye strain?
Common symptoms include dry or watery eyes, blurred vision, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, difficulty focusing, and increased light sensitivity. If symptoms persist after following the 20-20-20 rule and adjusting your setup, consult an eye care professional.
Does screen brightness affect eye strain?
Yes. A screen that's much brighter or dimmer than your surroundings forces your eyes to work harder. Match your screen brightness to the ambient light in your room. Use night mode or warm colour temperature settings in the evening to reduce stimulation before sleep.
